Scrum Development Manager – Web 2.0 & Mobile (SS39541216)

We’re looking for a Team Leader or Technical Lead who is ready to make the step-up to a management role and grow their career or an experienced Scrum Development Manager.

Your Role

The focus is on delivering software and not on line-management. With the expansion of the Development team there will be the possibility to grow into a more senior role in the future.

Manage projects within the Development team:

• Initiate, staff and track projects while ensuring their successful delivery.
• Coordinate cooperation with 3^rd parties working on the development projects.
• Introduce and set up Scrum for new teams, ensuring Scrum practices are applied.
• Facilitate Scrum Masters.

Incident & Release management:

• Perform ticket/incident management.
• Manage the trunk-minor-stable release cycles.

Your Profile

• 4+ years software engineering experience in large scale Web 2.0 or Mobile applications.
• 2+ years experience leading a team of developers in a fast-paced, mission critical production environment.
• 2+ years experience with Agile/Scrum development as a Scrum Master.
• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering (or related field) strongly preferred.
• Desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• The employer would prefer someone with fluent/native Dutch skills as the senior management team is Dutch.
• The employer requires that all applicants have permission to work in The Netherlands/Europe.
