Operations Manager ADSL (AH5573167)
Your Role
This client is currently looking for an Operations Manager ADSL with the ability to drive change within the Network and IT Operations department. This department is responsible for maintaining and supporting essential infrastructure and services, designing and implementing technical provisions of all products (ADSL, ADSL, ISP).
The Operations Manager ADSL fulfils a key role and acts as the linking pin between the operational and commercial organization. You will cooperate with Product Marketing, Customer Services and Product Development to continuously optimise quality of service and increase customer satisfaction:
- Be the single point of contact for ADSL operational issues.
- Report Quality of Service to senior management.
- Provide information on ADSL operational performance to service business owners.
- Encourage internal parties and suppliers to provide feedback on existing and potential operational malfunctions.
- Represent the IT&N Operations department in all service altering/impacting projects as stakeholder.
- Ensure new products and services are released on time and according to plan.
- Monitor and optimise incident & problem management processes.
- Collect and report on relevant operational Performance Indicators.
- Participate in change management process, representing ADSL services.
- Identify root causes and initiate corrective actions.
- Manage ADSL suppliers.
- Represent the company in meetings with external suppliers.
Your Profile
- 3+ years experience in a comparable position including management of operational activities and supplier (SLA) management.
- Strong knowledge of/ experience with ADSL technology.
- Good knowledge of telecommunications principles and practices.
- Used to working with measurement & performance tools (KPI monitoring).
- Used to work with technical persons (NOC, 3rd line, etc).
- Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise.
- Ability to maintain overview and see the bigger picture.
- Comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization including staff and management from different nationalities.
- Able to work independently and in a team setting.
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
- Pro-active, flexible, results orientated and stress-resistant.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
- Fluency in Dutch is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills – both written and spoken.
- Hbo or relevant university degree.
