Data Warehouse Developer / Analyst – (AH43982803)

Your Role
- Contribute to the definition of requirements for projects.
- Design technical solutions and write technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain internal data warehouse and ETL processes.
- Develop and maintain internal reports.
- Support other teams and fellow developers in specific areas.
- Proactively suggest and implement improvements.
Datawarehouse design, development and testing:
- Investigate the feasibility of requirements and estimate the impact and effort.
- Design and develop data structures according to data warehousing best practises (Kimball).
- Test data structures for complex data analysis and data quality.
- Write technical documentation.
- Proactively suggest improvements regarding productivity, architecture, working methods, specifications, code quality, etc.
ETL design, development and testing
- Develop and design ETL processes using Oracle Datawarehouse Builder.
- Maintain and test ETL processes.
Your Profile
- Excellent knowledge/experience with SQL & PL/SQL.
- Good knowledge/experience with Oracle warehouse builder or similar tools (datastage, SAS, SSIS).
- Good knowledge/experience with Business Objects suite or similar reporting tool (SAS, Cognos).
- Familiarity with Kimball’s method.
- Analytical, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Result-oriented and thorough with a hands-on and pragmatic (knows how to get things done) approach.
- Enthusiastic, communicative and positive.
- Able to learn and work without supervision.
- Excellent English communication skills – both written and spoken.
- HBO or university degree.
